About Us

Byron. A place where a hike on Tallow Ridge can turn into a paddle on Main Beach. Where brekkies flow into barbies that flow into afternoon hangs, naturally. It’s where one good thing ripples into the next and creates a feeling that only gets better the more you follow it.

Back in 2008 a couple of locals wanted to create a beer that represented that Byron Bay spirit, so they started their search for the dream brewery spot. They went from Skinners Shoot to Brunswick Heads, before settling on a piggery turned art factory and music venue that was home to the very first Bluesfest.

Byron isn’t just one thing. It’s a world where art, culture and music all give to each another and in turn give back to their community. And so, The Byron Bay Brewery decided it had a role to play, partnering with Byron Bay’s festivals, artists and fashion designers.

It all kicked off with local bands at the brewery. Then in 2019 we teamed up with Byron fashion brand Thrills to re-design the Byron Bay Brewery logo – so we could share a taste of this place’s culture with everyone who picked up a bottle. In 2022 we partnered with Splendour in the Grass for the first time – and we’re looking forward to creating more good things with them in the years to come.
